"Powered by nopCommerce" Copyright Removal Notice

If I purchase the license for a website (say www.yyy.com) and I happen to change my domain due to certain other reasons - to www.zzz.com, can I use this license on www.zzz.com after I stop using it at www.yyy.com (or after discarding www.yyy.com) ?

Changing URL of already purchased key is not allowed. You'll have to purchase a new copyright removal key.

Are we able to transfer nopCommerce copyright removal key to another site. I have a store that has changed and no longer in use. I would like to reclaim it for other store usage.

I just seen the post where it is not changeable... Cancel this...

Hi Andrei,

I'm planning to buy key license but I still have a concern that not clear.

if buy a license for www.bigstore.com, with multi-store feature no NOP I can configure to have such following address.
locationA.bigstore.com, locationB.bigstore.com.

I should buy one license key or 3 different license key for this different url like above?

Hi Mick,

You need three copyright removal keys in this case.

Please also have a look at a wildcard copyright removal key (for multiple sites on a SINGLE domain). It's described here (see bottom of the page). So if you purchase such key for domain www.yourDomain.com, then you can remove "powered by nopCommerce" on the following sites as well - www.yourDomain.com/site1, www.yourDomain.com/site4, subdomain1.yourDomain.com. It cost $700.

You have to manually remove "powered by nopCommerce" text in the bottom of the footer once the key is purchased (\Modules\Footer.ascx file for versions 1.X or \Views\Shared\Footer.cshtml file for further versions).

All other nopCommerce references could be removed without purchasing the copyright removal key (also just find them in the code and remove).

Where can it be found in Nop 3.5? I was going to \Views\Shared\ but none Footer.cshml is there.

Have a look at \Modules\Footer.ascx file for versions 1.X, or \Views\Shared\Footer.cshtml file for versions 2.00-2.50, or \Views\Common\Footer.cshtml file for further versions)
