Booking Event functionality

Hi ,

My client wants something like a booking form page on the website , where customers can book an event in advance, Is this functionality available on nop, if not can anyone provide any assistance or suggestions on this issue,

The client want a simple booking form for their events which takes place once a month, they probably wants the customers to book in online, once the booking slots are completed the cooking should be closed for that event, and the client can download the names of the customers who have booked on-line from back end.

What version of nopCommerce are you using? If you're using v2.6 you can now determine which registration fields are required, so you can make the person register on the site before "booking" a product to get the information you need. If you are giving away shirts or something you could create a product attribute that would ask for that information. You may also want to turn on inventory so that only so many people can book that event.

I would be interested in sharing the cost of an events booking plugin with a calendar display on the site.  This type of functionality would be useful in selling RC campsite rentals, birthday parties and trail rides.

I ended up using a 3rd party calendar by supersaas.com and have it displaying within an iframe on a topic page I created. Works fine.
