Export products

Hi everyone! I am very new here so please pardon me for my inquiry. I want to export products and inventory to a flat file. Can anyone help me how to do this? I would really appreciate it. Thank You!

Go to Administration Panel > Catalog > Products > Manage Products

Select the option " Export to Excel (all)" - This will export all the products in your store database in an excel CSV file.

You can also use other options according to your requirements such as:
"Download catalog as PDF", "Export to XML"

Hi! I tried that but when I open the file, it's actually empty except for titles on each column. Is it necessary to type something in the Product name box? I selected "all" for both category and manufacturing since I wanted to have all the products. Thanks!

Export to excel (all) will give you an excel sheet with all the products (if there are no products in the database, you will get an empty file only with titles).

Export to excel (selected) will give you an excel sheet with all the products that you have selected below (if no products selected, you will get an empty file only with titles).

Are you sure, you have added products in your store database ?

I would like to know if I can export the data of all products, including price level tab.

If by "price level tab" you mean Tier Prices, then, out-of-the-box, yes they can be exported, but only in XML format - not Excel.   There may be plugins in the marketplace that can export tier prices in Excel.

Hello,

I have a question regarding the products export.

In our shop we have product descriptions (short and full) in three different languages. If I use the export (XLS or XML) I get all the fields, but only in one language (eg. "short description",  "full description", "meta description", "title"....are only exported in the standard language).

Is there a possibility to export all information in all the different languages? To change "Language" in the Shop backend doesn´t work.

1. Name of the product.
2. SKU of the product.
3. A picture (main) of the product.
4. The Short description of the product.

How to get rid of the other columns??
