Display stats of users, downloads & installations on website

Hi, Just thought it will be great if nopCommerce site shows the statistics of the nopCommerce downloads & active installations along with active community user base. This will greatly help potential users to adopt nopCommerce and motivate more developers/companies to join in the community and offer free or commercial add-ons.

What do you think?

Statistics of downloads - I don't think it's possible. I mean the exact number of download because I cannot know how many times nopCommerce has been downloaded (counter exists only on codeplex site). But some approximate number could be shown (for emaxmple, 1M downloads) which should be updated manually on the official site.
Statistics of active installations along with active community user base - agree. it can be done.

I wonder if there are some steps taken to provide any statistics about NopCommerce usage on the web? I mean the real NopCommerce stories. Can we make any comparison to magento (for instant) usage Vs Nop?

I believe this well be a huge step to the NopCommerce promotion on the word (witch can and should be better..)
