List custom checkout attribute in admin orders list

Would it be possible to add a custom checkout attribute to the 'Orders' list section in the admin site?
For example we have a 'Rush Order fee' checkout attribute that the customer service department needs to easily find in order to prioritize these orders.  Right now they have to click in each order and look under the 'Products' tab in order to find out if this rush order fee has been selected.  Ideally they would like to see this on the main order list page as well as be able to filter the search results based on this.

It would require customization.  I see that "Order notes" is already a search criteria, so I'd recommend a plugin that can handle the Order Paid event, check for checkout attribute, and then add the order note with some key term like "Rush" ;)
