having placed an order for 1 item belonging to a vendor and then  logging on as administrator, (not as the vendor)

when i visit the Admin/Order/List  i can see the order but no indication that it is an order for a vendor.

do you think we need another column listing the vendors associated with the order (including the main storeowner ) so that we know who is supposed to be dealing with the order ?


think we need this information on the order page as well - also on the pdf  and  '/orderdetails/'  page ?

also,  we need a way for a vendor to print shipping info.

on  Admin/Customer/Edit/   should we have a tab   'vendor products'  that will list all the products associated with a particular vendor id ?

or is it enough that it is available as a search on Admin/Product/List    ?

I think we need (perhaps under another tab) a 'per vendor' sales breakdown so that we can see at a glance what proportion of the order value belongs to each vendor.


imagine we have two vendors each with 10 products and a customer buys 8 products from each vendor - at the moment we would have to sit with a calculator ( or fingers :-D  )  to figure this out.

another thought ...

If the purpose of having multiple vendors is for a storeowner to take a percentage of the sales, would we

a) need to have a setting 'commission rate ' ?  this would need to be on a per customer basis.
b) also want to show this in the above mentioned sales breakdown ?  would the vendor totals be shown less the commission
       (maybe we would need to show both in separate tables ?)
c) we should report this on the vendors order form also

The store name set in the " Edit store detail " screen doesn't seem to appear in the title tag (HTML) of pages.

I thought that "Configuration/Settings/General and miscellaneous settings/SEO settings/Default title" was replaced by "Configuration/Stores/Edit/Store" (which seemed quite logical to me in a multi-store context)

But my guess was wrong, sorry to have wasted your time.

(by the way, I'm testing the last version on Azure without any problem for the moment - thank for your work!)

Just wanted to say I will be setting this up tonight, looking forward to it, and have been using since 2.4 or 2.6, and have used the very nice multistore add on for it.  Looking forward to this, and will update with my thoughts and the link to where its at.
