Is it legal to remove news from Admin section Dashboard section ?

In the Admin Section when we click on the Dashboard Section we can see the Sales reports, Order Details etc but on the right hand side there is a nopCommerce News Section, According to the copyright rules and regulations can we remove that news column from there ? If yes then how i can remove that news  (from where?), Please Advise me...

You can do it. But you cannot remove "powered by nopCommerce" statement (public store)

Yes i know i cannot remove that statement but Other than this statement "Powered By nopCommerce" that is on each page at the bottom

Is there any donation or cost if one wants to remove "Powered By Nop Commerce"

Or if someone wants to remove it only for first one month (till the time he is testing his new site online)

And what if one wants to Display a Nop Commerce Banner at the site in general (just to promote)

you cannot remove the "Powered By nopCommerce" in any condition unless you buy the license key which is $50 (ONE TIME FEE)

I see its not ilegal as you guys answered this part of the question but where do you go to remove it?
I just want to remove nopcommerce news from dashboard.
