I understand flight reservations is a very complex case, which is done through big systems like Amadeus or Sabre. This is because to flight from point 1 to point 14 you might have many combinations (examples: 1-14, 1-3-14, 1-3-6-14, etc, etc.) and you have to have complex algorithms to find the cheapest and simplest routes, and avoid a flight from Mumbai to Bangalore like Mumbai-London-NY-Tokio-Bangalore.
