Hi Andrey, we already have a documentation in Hebrew (and even some more will be added soon to NopCommerce.co.il), so we can certainly help with this.

Hi!
I can help though i am new to nop-commerce. (Maybe you need some user centric docu, too). I can also help translating topics into german.

greetings

chris

PS: your solution is really great and the community too, so maybe i can  give something back by contributing.

Hi Andrei!

I wondered about your statement regarding revenues.
Did you ever considered to create a series of learning videos and sell those to a broader public (e.g. pluralsight.com) or similar. I think they all have a kind of model where revenues are shared.

I'm quite sure that this will boost awareness, too, and i think they will accept a course about nopcourse  (I know at the beginning its quite a lot of work but you use all the techniques which are shown in there courses).

just an idea

Hi Chris,

Thanks for suggestion. Yes, considered (but for free). There even were several screencasts but all of them are outdated (see nopCommerce channel on youtube here). If somebody would like to record and contribute such videos, then it would be just great (we cannot do it because are not native English speakers)!

Hey,
Count us in, We will try and create some Videos for 3.40 and show it to you, if you like that then we will continue and progress for its free submission to NopCommerce YouTube channel. I think Videos are better and easy way of telling How To...

We are also planning to build some simple videos for developers to get them started on building more plugins and themes. Lets see.
Cheers

UPDATE: After careful consideration and much thought we decided to make existing documentation free. The new documentation portal will be located at http://docs.nopcommerce.com/ and will use Atlassian confluence. Currently guests cannot access it because existing paid user guide is still not moved to it yet. It has about 300 pages so it can take some time to copy it to the portal (no estimate yet).

I know a lot of you agreed to participate in creation of this portal. I really appreciate it! Thanks a lot! So some of you will get write access to it once existing paid documentation is moved to it so you can improve or extend it. I hope it'll help us to make nopCommerce better and more popular!
