Hi.

Just met the problem.

I'm going through many inventory management systems, like BrightPearl, TradeGecko, TidyStock, LinnWorks, Unleashed, OrderWise.

Most of them have intergtaions with popular ecommerce software such us magento, bigcommerce, shopify, amazon, ebay, opencard, zen cart, etc.

And nowhere is NopCommerce.

Lots companies will have stock control system as a primary system, and then select sale channels from the list of already integrated ones.

There is 2 benefits of that kind relationships with warehouse software:

1) More people potentially can choose NopCommerce because it have inventory management system
2) More people potentially can choose NopCommerce because it in the list of integrated sales channels in the inventory management systems.

Are you guys planning to contact and create partnerships with such kind of companies?

Hi,

Its a good idea. Many of the inventory system you have mentioned already has open APIs. So nop commerce can take advantage of it.

Having said that, please be aware this is an evolving open source .net shopping cart by community. So i believe support for these will be added with time.

Yes, but Magento for example open source as well, but is such popular that IMS companies added integration with Magento into their products. So I don't think open source is stopping somehow connect NopCommerce to their products.

I think if NopCommerce team will send fact that their product popular as well and will cooperate to such companies - result would benefit 3 sides: NopCommerce at first (for example: we raised question in the beginning to take ecommerce solution with integrated IMS  - because this is part of any more serious business with warehouse larger then house garage; or take NopCommerce. As we decided NopCommerce is better, and we have in-house developers - we can afford NopCommerce. But very few companies having own developers, so, choice will be for the system that having IMS).

So, NopCommerce wil get benefits, IMS software will get benefits, customers after all will get benefits.

i am reading this with interest, I am not a programmer so really struggle to get what i need from NOP. Don't get me wrong i love Nop but it's just not doing everything I need it to and it seems that any integration with things like POS software or ebay integration will be a long time coming so I am considering changing Nop for something more tuned for my needs..
Obviously cost is my main factor for using Nop and although I am willing to pay for the right software I still haven't found the right solution at a reasonable cost.

Have any of you interfaced into TradeGecko?
We are currently looking for a supplier purchase order module for one of our customers. I have been looking at TradeGecko as an option as it seems to have interfaces to other ecommerce solutions. I would appreciate any thought anyone has on this.

Thanks
