Is it possible to create Online Multi-Vendor Marketplace to build my own online shopping mall?

Is it possible to create Online Multi-Vendor Marketplace to build my own online shopping mall? I want to create a marketplace full of a variety of products offering by different vendors. Where each vendor can log into their portal to list products, update their information and manage their orders. Me as a marketplace owner can create product categories and manage the marketplace with my own administration area. So is it possible to do from your CMS features as vevocart.com is providing in its VevoCart Multi-Vendor Marketplace Edition.

how stable is this feature multi-vendor marketplace of noCommerce,  single store is working fine, but could not find much info, success stories and discussion about multi-vendor of noCommerce when i seared in the forums

Note : In case of "out of box" you will need to customize to achieve it.

I have the following problem.

planning to create sub domain/store for each vendor, allow the vendor to upload/create products only for that store?

Please let me know if it is possible?

When site visitors access that content (either by buying a subscription or paying for single-access), the content author should get a percentage of the revenue credited to his account.
