A disk error occurred during a write operation while importing excel with product

Hi,
This is Chirag here and I am new to NopCommerce.
I was setting store and was trying to import products using excel. While doing this, I get following error
A disk error occurred during a write operation. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8003001D (STG_E_WRITEFAULT))

FYI - I have installed open office.

Can anyone help me solve the issue please?

I had the same error with a plugin I had created to import from excel. Originally I had saved the import file as .xls.

I opened this excel spreadsheet and resaved as .xlsx.

This solved the problem.
