Hi All,

Due to popular demand, we start preparations for integration with Umbraco. Firstly we must gather the requirements and suggestions for forthcoming integration.

Please suggest the minimum functionality you would like to have in the first version of integration.
Also, we are looking for those, who already made integration of nopCommerce and Umbraco, to study your experience.
Soon we will attract our colleagues from Umbraco for discussion.

Please submit your suggestions, your experience may be crucial for integration with Umbraco

I disagree about the integration of nop and umbraco.

All we have to do is to add some features like other cms (blogging etc)

Blog, forum, all this is already there in the current implementation. We want to make the integration with other CMS. Sometimes, in other CMS is a need to use sales mechanisms. And why this mechanism can not be nopCommerce? So we will expand our community, new users - new ideas.
Do you not charges according to this?

So in the near future are nopcommerce developers also need to learn Umbraco?

No, this is not necessary. Integration will be in the form of plug-in Umbraco. And is designed for those who are already using Umbraco and would like to open a store on the site. The source code will be without mutations both nopCommerce.

Our minimum functionality should be suffcient to beat competitors:

1) Merchello with Alexa rating 2,747,523 Free Powered as Umbraco as a service
2) Ucommerce with Alexa rating 676,699 Free and Paid
3) Teacommerce with Alexa rating 3,747,107 Paid 1299 Euro
4) https://github.com/uWebshop/uWebshop-Releases saw this only in github, sorry, no clue how popular it is.

Our free soultion must have more functions than other free competitiors and must be expandable by demand of merchants to compete with paid solutions.

Hi.
I finally saw the Main Goal :) and ...
1. You shouldn't invent wheel.
2. In this case (see MG)... the best way to integrate nopCommerce with the Accounting systems and CRM.
3. Hope it's clear... and sorry if not polite.
Best Regards.
