Limited Admin Access

I wanted to know is it possible to have limited access to admin area.
like moderator who will create/edit product only ?

could u please help me how can I creat a user that have permition JUST FOR ADD OR EDIT THE PRODUCT?
I mean I need to have some subStore that can add/edit their prodocut only,not other admin access.

go to admin  -->customers -->customer roles


create a role  for yourself eg  fulladmin
create a role  for other administrator eg  admin2

go to

go to customers--> manage customers

apply the full admin role to you and then admin 2 to the other administartor

got to  configuration-->Access Control list


tick all the boxes for full admin then save

tick the appropriate boxes for other administrator and save

once you are happy with everything, tick the 'enable acl'  checkbox - and that should be it

How this will give a customer or a vendor to access only his own product, and not all products at all?

nopcommerce does not currently support multi vendors

For requirements I think your looking at pretty straight forward use cases.  In general the perspective should be to provide a single installation to support the sharing of a common catalog between unique domains, or for those domains to have their own catalog, or a hybrid.  From the UI it should be completely distinct for every domain.
