Set default search to include item description 3.80 Hosted

Searched and read what feels like 400 post but all the info is for older versions.

How do you enable search to include item description by default, instead of having to go under advanced search.

There is no setting for that, but you do have the option of enabling full-text search support in your admin >> Configuration >> General Settings >> Full-Text is enabled: (if your database supports it)

I'm not sure, but I think that will give much better search results based on text within the short or long descriptions.
