Can anyone help me? I'm trying to configure shipping options so that my site supports two scenarios, flat-rate shipping per order, or local collection (free). I have tried enabling two "Shipping Rate Computation Methods (one using NopSolutions.NopCommerce.Shipping.Methods.FisedRateShippingCM.FixedRateShippingComputationMethod, Nop.Shipping.FixedRateShipping and one using NopSolutions.NopCommerce.Shipping.Methods.FreeShippingCM.FreeShippingComputationMethod, Nop.Shipping.FreeShipping), and I have also played around with "Shipping Methods" (although I don't understand how they relate to anything because there seems to be no configuration options available??? Anyway, at this point I am totally confused and would really appreciate some guidance.

Hello steveives,

If you activate Free Shipping and Fixed Rate Shipping on the Shipping Rate Computation Methods Page
On the edit page of the Fixed Rate Shipping there is a Configuration tab that allows you to set the flat price for your deliveries.
On the Free Shipping edit page the configuration is empty as there is nothing to configure (this is global and will be free for any customer that select its on any order).
Please if this doesn't cover scenario can you please elaborate?
in that way, i dont think any free shipping option will appear to the user

instead, you could:

in admin configuration--->shipping-->shipping methods, create two shipping methods

1- your postal method
2- pick up in store

go to shipping rate computation method and select Shipping By Order Total (you could use others)

add value 1 (your postal method - choose from the drop down list) total from 0 to 100000 and the charge amount at your fixed rate eg £10

set a second value with your other option (pick up in store) total from 0 to 100000 and the charge amount at £ 0.00

Hi, also have two shipping methods (postal method and pick-up), but in the shopping process of the shop there is no value for the shipping method:

Pickup (€,00)
postal method (€,00)

I followed your instruction:

shipping rate computation method -> Shipping By Order Total -> Enabled (only this)

In the Shipping By Order Total -> Configuration

I added my two shipping methods with values:
postal method From (10,00) To (10,00) Charge Amount (10,00)
Pickup All to 0,00

Any idea, have i forgot something?

Ok my problem was the value TO, which was 10, i changed it to 100000.

This is my result:

Pickup (€,00)
postal method (€10,00)

Why is the pickup value set to (€,00) not instead of (€0,00)? How to change this??

Hi,

I am attempting to have local pickup and flat rate shipping.

I have enabled these two and are working fine, however there are a couple heavy items that will have an additional say $5 shipping charge, so i have added these to the field for the SKU.

However now the checkout wants to charge $5 for local pickup for this item...

How can I do this so local pickup is still $0 when an SKU has a freight markup.

Thanks,

I did it as in the example above. However, I get a double set of shipping options... One with 0 SEK (swedish crowns) as cost, and one set with the price I chose, 0 SEK for picking up at store, and 79 SEK for shipping. Like this:

- Pick up in store (0,00 SEK)

- Shipping (0.00 SEK)

- Pick up in store (0.00 SEK)

- Shipping (79,00 SEK)

Why is that? I used "Shipping by order total" as used above... Please help me :)
