I've published a free guide on my e-mail list (see my signature) regarding nopCommerce speed up. Image compression is one of it.
Also, you can download my free SEO Optimizer plugin, which comes with both lossless image compression (JPEGTRAN and PNGOUT - both are recommended by Google PageSpeed Insights) and lossy image compression using TinyPNG.
Hi, I have nopcommerce 4.10 and I downloaded and istanalled SEO Optimizer plugin. The domain and product key are configured as well. My question is how to identify if the plugin works and optimise my images? I checked my /images/thumbs folder and the Last Modified date is not today. Is there a way to forse the optimization process?

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience with TinyPNG compression? More specifically the plugin on the marketplace by nop-world:
We have quite a few products and was hoping to find a way to optimize my images from everywhere on the site in bulk.
Currently, we run images through Squoosh.app for new products. If we're editing old products we usually take the time to optimize the images then. It's a manual process now, and it seems like the solutions mentioned above don't really provide an automated way to compress everything.
We have developed a plugin which could help with the compression of the images in the nopCommerce stores. This plugin automatically compresses all of the store’s images with two different methods (depending on the store owner’s choice). It will considerably reduce the size of the images and increase the page load speed.

Does this plugin work without issues when nopCommerce store is configured using Azure Blob Storage and also CDN?
Hello dear OTH
Thank you for your interest in our product.
Regarding your question, in the plugin’s configuration page, the store owner has the ability to specify a/multiple directories in the host. Then the plugin automatically will compress and optimize every image and their thumbs in the specified directories.
