What can we do about content scraping. I'm seeing more and more of this from other companies I work with and from developers talking on the internet. The threat seems mostly to be originating from Russian companies. Our site has been scraped completely and a new Russian site up and running, indexed in Google and most likely attempting to steal customer information as our customers start clicking on their links in Google Search.

Is there anyway for nopCommerce to implement some sort of security, in future versions, to detect content scraping of the site? I know it's difficult because it's relatively the same tech bots use to index a site but something needs to be done before it becomes widespread.

Here's our site www.nyrpcorp.com and the scraped site rc-igrushka.ru as you can see they scraped and duplicated our site.

Thanks.

The link doesn't work because we got a certain CDN to stop caching the content thus a blank page. Where as Google and Bing etc may know content scalping is going on obviously they don't care because they are still indexing scraped and scalped content anyway. Many of our product links on Google Search were indexed right next to the same links for the scrapers. We were even able to find the web host who was hosting the site. They refused to take the site down. Legal proceedings are under way.
