Will nop still use EF on 4.0?

Is there any migration plan, to another framework? Did you review EF performance issues?

See: https://github.com/nopSolutions/nopCommerce/issues/239

I dont know how EF Core performance is after all changes made, but worth a shot if you are saying it is faster as Dapper now, for example.

@Andrei, btw, do you use to test nop on a stress test situation? I mean, a lot of products, categories, orders, customers and a very high simultaneos traffic? I believe you do, but there is a lot of good online tools to do it.

Thanks!

First of all, it's not BETA, it's under development version.
Moreover, it's visual studio issue.

What configurations are you using?

In looking at the list of 4.0 items I did not find on that is questioning my long committment to nopCommerce. In Tier Pricing, we MUST have that pricing on attributes as well.  i.e., a product of Small, Medium, Large at all different prices, needs to have capability to price in different tiers to customers.  Seems logical and simple as a need for many sites.  Was under the impression this would be released in 4.0.  Real difficulty to work around in system.

Hi,

We've prepared the roadmap of the next version of nopCommerce (4.00). The main and most exciting change is moving to ASP.NET Core! Yes, we're finally ready to do it!

I won't list all highlight/enterprise features here as we always did it before. But just because there are really a lot of them. Find them here

Please also find a complete list of all existing work items for this version here.

Your thoughts and suggestions are more than welcome!

Estimate release time - October-November 2017 (7-8 months)

is there any change in the release time? any date yet for a BETA version?
