Hi,
I want the checklist to provide an option for customers to opt in for newsletters.
I have installed the plugin, It allows me to create dummy checklists.
is there Any way to link this to the real newsletter option ?

And is there anything else i need to do / know to be compliant with GDPR other than installing the plugin ?

Thanks,

Heads up for GPDR

First of all I'm not fully convinced we need to be elaborate but we may start to think about GDPR and what it will mean to our business. In a second phase we should address the development of plugins and possibly changing the core of NopCommerce.

I'm collecting a list of all information and this is what I have so far. Please feel free to respond or add to the list. Texts between double quotes are examples of what to ask te user.

Think about
-your payment provider (they may collect this data: name and bank account, nr of purchases, total amount spent over time, cancellation, non payments);
-your shipping service (they may collect this data: name, adress, nr of shipments, weight/size of packages, availability at home)
-your accounting application (name, address, goods purchased, payment behavior, amount spent over time)
question on shop: "We keep your personal information in our backoffice accounting application during seven years on behalf of dutch Tax Law."
-your administrative or accounting office: name, address, income of employees

and last but not least your webshop
-EU cookie law, must be able to disregard it after first aproval
-opt out news letter
-user pages
-data retention agreement with end user
--for example:
question on shop: "We keep your personal information in our webshop during the period of shipping"
question on shop: "We keep your personal information in our webshop during the rightful period of withdrawal (16 or 32 days)"
-All your personal data is stored encrypted
-user data must be destroyed or anonimized after the agreed period

plugin:
-store consent as well as the question has been asked to get the consent. (for all questions)
-delete/anonimize account after agreed period

Now remember that although GDPR becomes active in may 2018, I also read somewhere there will be a period of adjustment of 6 months.

Any more input is highly appreciated

Hi,
first of all this is a great plugin.
I have a problem using version 3.90: once the plugin is installed the custom customer attributes disappear from "registration page" and "customer info page".

In my case, for example, I need a custom attribute "Tax code" (as mandatory field); when i go to the registration page I cant see the field but when I try to save the system warn that Tax Code field is empty.

Any suggestion?
Thank you.

Hi,
I cant see nothing in the "Consent history" and "Consent" tabs although my customer register to the newsletter.
One more thing, can I decide about the consents I want to present in the log?

thanks

Is there plans to support ver 3.60 or older?

We migrated from 3.5 to 3.7 because 3.7 is the lowest version the gdpr plugin from TMotion supports.

You can easily migrate from 3.6 to 3.7 as the templating is similar.

However! De Recaptcha on 3.7 does not work any more.

or, you can buy the source code from TMotion (200 euro I believe) and adjust it for nop 3.6
