Hello

I am finding how the product category function in Nopcommerce a bit lacking handling subcategories
(atleast when you have a webstore that are handling a large number of products and dealing with different
main categories)

Maybe i missed some modules or basic functions that could help,

But i also do see that not many Nopcommerce shops are using subcategories and extensive filters

When having Many products (25 000 + ) While having big Main product categories, you are also dependent on having a second layto third layer/sub categories.

For example if you haveone of ten big Main categories ( Called Books )
Containing categories ranging from A-Z
(one of the category is - Author: A and each category A-Z contains about 500 + products and contains 70+ author names)

inside the Author A: a second layer category exists ( a bestseller author category)
you want people to find bestseller authors easily and not expect them to filter between 70+ authors)

But the issue occurs when when you click into the Author A category and the products filters kick in

There is no real way getting back to the layer above (without using the breadcrumb path or using the browser back button) Should not expect costumers to be able to know about that and use it.

This becomes a real challenge because you do want costumers to easily navigate your page, while being able to navigate asily trough A-Z categories

I am missing a "go back to the  above layer button" or a return too the choosen main category function
Should also be good too have on mobile view

Or do anyone have a solution to this? (Having Category tree showing on sub category is not an really an optomal option thanks filters + the category tree will just make the page harder to navigate)

This is a significant issue for us as well.  Please if anyone knows how to "reset" categories so that the breadcrumbs will show based on where you are, not where the product was originally built.  this is such an issue when you have products showing in multiple categories and subcategories.
