Sku Modifier?

Hi,

I'm trying to offer nopCommerce as a replacement to a paid platform for a customer to consider. During review, we were asked if there is a sku modifier functionality for a given product attribute. Remembering the ability to add a sku in the product attribute combinations I quickly responded yes, but after trying to use this myself I don't see the product attribute sku being reflected anywhere. I've checked the cart after adding a product, and checked the order items after checking out.

If the sku in the product attribute combinations is not used for this purpose, can someone explain what it is used for and potentially offer another way to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.

hello!

To do this you need change base code or create a new plugin.

On the Product, you need to set the Inventory method to "Track inventory by product attributes"

I have the same problem with the SKU and delivering time.

I have set the "Main Product: "Track inventory by product attributes"

The assosiated product setting: Don´t track inventory.

The assosiated product have different SKU and
delivering time (Shipping setting)

But when I at the online page sellect the diffrent product the SKU and delivering don´t change.

We also not get the SKU in "cart"

Can you maybe send us a´ "URL" where we can see  that it work or did you have some screen dump.

Our Url where we try to get the function:

Hi JENS_OVE,

We're still in development with our store so I don't have a live link I can send, but I can provide screenshots of my configuration:

Product Info: Type: Simple / Inventory Method: Track inventory by product attributes

Product Attributes | Attribute Combinations, I specified a Sku for each combination:

This was all I needed to get different skus based on attribute. Hope this helps.
