Using MailChimp

Hello,

I have found this available plugin - MailChimp, for synchronization between nopCommerce and loyalty platform. I also installed in the nopCommerce. But I don't know how I can make the connection between both systems. Can someone tell me how I can do it?

Is that the name of your subscriber list in MailChimp?

If so, then all you need to do is on the plugin configuration screen, choose the name of the list in which you want to synch with your nopCommerce site...then if somebody subscribes on your site, they will be added automatically to the mailchimp list...and if they unsubscribe on your site, they will be automatically removed from the mailchimp list.

HINT: this only happens when the scheduled task normally runs unless you run it manually in admin >> system >> scheduled tasks

I think that you expect too much from the plugin....

Mailchimp is useful for sending email campaigns to large email lists.
Sending from within the internal functionality can cause problems with SPAM blacklist servers, so Mailchimp is an excellent way to protect your primary domain name from being blacklisted.

Maybe you don't even need Mailchimp. If you really want to send your campaigns from within nopcommerce, you can..but if your newsletter subscriber list is over 1,000 records you will eventually have problems...

The plugin ONLY synchronizes your internal subscriber list with your external Mailchimp subscriber list.
The customers who have subscribed (opted-in) to your list on your website will be automatically sent to the list at Mailchimp. So, just create your campaign or promotion at Mailchimp and send it!

If you are looking for a way to segment your newsletter subscribers internally so as to send promotions to only those customers who purchased this product or that product, or only those customers who purchased between this date and that date, then you could get a plugin like this one which allows that:
