I have added a Checkout Attribute for Tips to the installation of 3.60 that I am running. The Checkout attribute displays as a checkbox below the items begin purchased, however the amount is not added into the total as checkout. It is also displayed to the left where everything else is displayed to the right and only applies the textbox amount to the label above the total if the user hits enter after entering a tip amount.
There has to either be something I am missing or a better way of dealing with tips. Can a text box be added in above, below, or in place of shipping that would add to the total for the user before checkout? There has to be someone who has dealt with this issue before me and come up with a decent solution other than to modify code.
Any assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
