In the past I've used the technique described in the post below to run jobs from my local development machine (such as programmatic bulk editing of products) -

The architecture of Nop 4 is dramatically different to earlier versions, and after spending a couple of hours trying to figure out how I might be able to do the same thing with Nop 4, I'm starting to think it's not possible.
Andrei you may be the only person who would be able to answer this question - is it still possible? If so, any pointers?
