Upgrade to 4.0 .NET Framework 4.6.1 package not installable on project via Nuget

Hi there,

I have an .NET Framework 4.6.1 compatible package that I would need to use for my plugin
but it won't even get installed by nuget.

Package X is not compatible with net461 (.NETFramework,Version=v4.6.1). Package X supports: netframework461 (.NETFramework,Version=v4.6.1)

I don't get it . Should that not be the same`?

This package is vital to us. Any hint ?

We figured it out. The package was generated with Visual Studio 2015.
We upgraded the project to Visual Studio 2017 and generated the package again. Now it works.
Apparently its that VS 2015 uses slightly different names for identifying the frameworktype
