Dashboard Panels

Is there a way to give access to the dashboard panels without giving full access to the section?

In other words, I want marketing to see sales numbers and download data but not manage the orders.

The only way to do this is to customise the solution, in simple terms
1.  Make a new PermissionRecord in the database
2.  Use the permission to give access to the elements you want them to be able to use
