Suggestion: Forum visible to only to roles [GDPR, SPAM]

It would be desirable if the forum could only be viewed by customers of a certain role via a setting in the "Access Control List". The complete forum link should not appear.

The GDPR is concerned here on the one hand and unnecessary spam on the other. What the bot does not see, it will not use.

Thanks for suggestion. We already had this work item but then decided to close it.

We plan to focus on ecommerce functionality rather than built-in forums support.
