Have you done the test I told you above?: For sanity check create a test product, without attributes,  but with a weight of 1300 and see results

Peter, I tried to do the test with the parameters that you specified. Still everything works.

But I noticed the following on your order page, if you specify the quantity of item 3 (for 18 inches), then 1st Class Recorded (£6.50 inc vat). But if you specify the Qty of 4, then 1st Class Recorded will disappear from the list. It turns out that the weight adjustment of 300g for 18 inches.

Make sure the size attribute is filled correctly (weight adjustment).

As you can see the weight adjustments are set correctly, so I am pretty much certain that they are not being added to the 300 base weight.

Again I can give you a login if it will help.

Make sure that you settings "Configuration-> Settings->Shipping Srttings->Consider associated products dimensions and weigh" is true.

Brilliant! That's fixed it...

Perhaps that line should be changed from...

Consider associated products dimensions and weight

to

Consider product attributes dimensions and weight

and should be checked as default, as surely this would be required almost 100% of the time.

Thanks for solving.

Regards

Peter
