We just developed a new Store Locator plugin using Google Maps Javascript API, Direction Service and Distance Matrix API.
Our plugin provides "Walking", "Biking", "Driving" and "Transit (Public Transportation)" directions to your stores.
You can sort the stores by name or distance and also make a radius search.
You can use a personalized marker for your store markers.
This plugin is just available for 4.1 Version now. Please let us know if you want it in any versions.
Also sample download works on locolhost without license key.
