Multi-Language Website Orders

Our website allows customers to view the website either in English or in French. Is there a way to tell if a customer places an order while viewing the page in French or in English? It would help with our future marketing campaigns. Even if we could tell how many times customers have switched the language to one or the other would help. We would appreciate any insight anyone can provide. Thanks.
