Best payment providers for the USA

Which are the best payment providers for processing all types of credit cards in the USA that do not take you out of the website? I would prefer one that has plugins in the market place developed by the Nop team

I use stripe (stripe.com) for credit card processing.  There are both paid and free plugins available, but they are not developed by the nopCommerce team.

We have clients using Authorize.net (it's a nopC team supported plugin)

They do charge a monthly fee in addition to per transaction fee.  You need a US bank/merchant account  (to ensure you get paid ;).  A merchant account is a type of bank account that allows businesses to accept payments by payment cards.  There are 3rd parties that work with Authorize.net to handle the merchant account (and may charge a smaller per transaction fee), or if you don't have a merchant account, Authorize.net can set you up with both a merchant account and a payment gateway.
