Do not be silly. This is from 1 week ago. There has been no update since.
They do not restore databases. All websites down, no tickets answered.
Chat box a bot and Windows hosting not for sale.

nopCommerce have removed A2 as a partner.

This is the end of A2 Hosting.

I'm not trying to defend them.  (I recommend SmarterASP.net).

I just thought I'd let people know about a2status.com (which was updated 21 hours ago  5/7 2:59 pm)

I definitely recommend PeoplesHost because the pricing is good and their service is excellent. We have been with them for over 2 years hosting over 40 sites and are extremely happy. They not only have very fast response times (less than an hour if not minutes) for our service requests, but also continuously monitor our sites and inform us of possible problems. They include daily backups. Additionally they have free Install & Setup or free migration from your previous hosting provider

I second the recommendation for SmarterASP.NET

The update is useless.

UPDATE 14:56 EDT: We continue to pursue all avenues to restore service for affected clients. We will post updates on specific servers as more information becomes available. Your continued patience and support is sincerely appreciated.

So, after  1 week this is all they say.
They do not confirm if they have backups and how old they are and why after over 2 weeks they have not restored databases. They need to employ a PR company.
