Nopcommerce transparency Hosting

Hi. I hope that NopCommerce Team read this well and I hope that NopCommerce community will appreciate ann share this.


NOPCOMMERCE RECOMMENDED HOSTING - where is the transparency?


If they are recommended hosting, Did they specify and respect minumim requirement for hosting a NOPCOMMERCE site in their service plan?

Maybe every hoster speaks about unlimited space or unlimited size or whaterver they need to sell their service: ok everyone can say and write everything: but if you are a NOPCOMMERCE RECOMMENDED HOSTING you MUST write clear what you offer ... and which resources you give to a NOpcommerce site ...

a site could be one html page .... so unlimited sites is NOTHING !!!

NOPCOMMERCE IS NOT WORDPRESS and it is more resorce consuming platform


SMARTERASP

I was very enthusiast of SmarterASP: i used the service from january 2018 and their support is fantastic. I appreciated the control panel and other functions.

BUT  !!!!!!!!

I KNOW THAT nothing is unlimited .... but please don't  make jokes

After 8 months they begin to ... your services are down because you used more than 100k files - please the terms of service ... so i begun to look at Nopcommerce thumbs and clear the directories one time a week

next .... Your BACKUP POLICY IS 3 backup on non alternate days (such as Mon-Wed-Fri) ... i bought a backup service to have a daily backup
next ... SSL 24$ for each site
next....
next...

Today they answer to my ticket ....

"Dear Customer,
For your premium plan the total memory limit for whole account is 512 MB while your nopcommerce site usually consumes around 256MB-512 MB.
The application pool frequently recycled because of lack of memory. To fix this you'd better either upgrading your current plan to the higher one or purchasing the extra memory in your hosting account >> Add-Ons. "

So only ONEEEEEEEE NOPCommerce site for .NET PREMIUM plan ... UAU that sounds great !!! (premium sigh).

I'm not looking for a cheap price ... I WANT A TRANSPARENT PRICE so i can do business with it. How can i host my customers sites if i don't know the price?


SO NOPCOMMERCE RECOMMENDED HOSTING FOR A SITE MUST BE CLEAR .... then you can sell whatever you want in the way you want ... BUT PLEASE GIVE US AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A TRANSPARENT SERVICE

Shared Hosting is limited with any provider. If your site is for a business, consider SmarterAsp's Semi-dedicated Hosting plans.

Speaking about NOPCOMMERCE RECOMMENDED HOSTING ...

I think that NOPCOMMERCE.COM MUST define plans that are ready to use for Nopcommerce: i think it's very easy and could be useful for all Nopcommerce expertise that know well Ecommerce process: to support an ecommerce project could be not necessary to have IT knowledge.

So to avoid problems i think that a clear offering for Nopcommerce sites would be appreciate by many people:

I'm a technician and inside my companu we have little datacenter where we host VM for our customers: we have not a deep knowlegde of website management so we prefer to place this service for our customer in a specialized hosting.

As you probably know better than me, to host a NOPCOMMERCE SITE there are minimum requirement: so i think that the start plan from SmarterASP to host ONE NOPCOMMERCE SITE IS THE ADVANCE PLAN.

-------- SO WHY DON'T WRITE CLEARLY THIS?

As you can see i don't speak about price .... i'm speaking only of TRANSPARENCY and CLEARNESS.

Now my problem is: i sold something a service to customers that cost 2 or three times more ...

Obviously i'm thinking to leave SmarterAsp ... or part of the services..
