Save Checkout Attributes Automatically

Hello...

I think it would be a very usefull tool to save checkout attributes automatically.

For example, we create Two Checkout Attributes like Name and Phone Number (INPUT FIELDS). So, when a client goes to cart page and enters his name and phone, it has to save his phone number and name AUTOMATICALLY, so that admin can see them in Current Carts user page.

I mean we automatically save name & phone input fields and show them on Guest page in admin side.

Or we can save inputs when client clicks CHECKOUT button on Cart Page...

In my opinion such tool would make nopCommerce more universal CMS, because some small stores don't need Checkout Procedure... They just need to collect necessary client info like Name & Contact details. Then store owner contacts a client...

Is there any ideas for this?

Hello,

It require customisation.it's out of box.

If customer is guest at that time we don't have any information like name and phone number.

They have to enter manually at checkout attribute.

If customer is register than we can fill automatically based on their registration detail or their previous order billing and shipping address detail.

You can show same information at order detail page.

If you want to see this information at different page then you should do customisation in it.

Hello. Yes, what I need is to save checkout attributes when guest fills name and phone fields, just we save these fields as soon as guest fills the input fields. Don't need registration. It maybe guest or registered.

Checkout attributes do get saved - for the customer id / cart (and then they clear after order is placed).  But, there is no guarantee that the guest will get the same id every time  (cookies get reset, server gets reset, etc.).   So, there is no way to 'save' them, unless the customer registers / logs back in.
