I have two payment providers on my store. Stripe, and one other who shall remain nameless.

I wince when nameless takes a fee of circa 3.00 GBP fee on an 80 GBP order.

Do you think it would put customers off to apply and disclose a 1.5% surcharge for use of the more expensive provider? Do they naturally steer towards stripe in this scenario? What are fellow store owners experiences?

Many thanks

If the unamed does not offer and advantage that justifies the surcharge your users will go for Stripe. It is a normal practice to charge customers a fee for certain payment methods and is good to explain them the reason for that.
