Send to a friend - only possible when we are registered? why?

Hi! like in subject… is any reason, why only registeres users can send emails to other? We use captcha… so? Can somebody explain?

Does a guest have friends ?
Does it make sense for your friend to recieve an email from no one or someone they dont know ?
