Am I authorized to make changes in nopCommerce source code in core functionality for my new eCommerce website?

Hi

Are we authorized to make changes in nopCommerce source code including core functionalities.
Actually I want to use nopCommerce 4.0 for my new eCommerce website, and want to make some changes in nop core functionalities.

As I know we can not remove "Powered by nopCommerce" statement without NOPCOMMERCE COPYRIGHT REMOVAL KEY.
Other then this am I authorized to make changes in core functionalities like add new Entities, services etc.?

Yes
Best to code you changes with a standard comment - at least you can search for changes later if you want to upgrade
Also you can maintain a local git repository
