Support for new format for pictures / images?

Google Insight cut us points for not using new formats?

Do you plan start suport this?

I investigated this problem.
Not all browsers supports one of formats.
I think it's better to has several kinds of pictures for one source of picture.

I added support WebP in my plugin Google Page Speed.

I downloaded your plugin [evaluation] and installed it on my test server.  I enabled all the options and told it to run the task.  I configure it to convert images to webp, how do I know it's done with the tasks?  I ran it two hours ago and my sample product still has a jpg image.

1. What nopcommerce version do you use?
2. Check if you have any error message in nop log.

I'm using 4.0 right now but I will be installing it on my production (3.6) server when I purchase it.

No errors in the log and just realized image uploading does not work at all.  I try to add images to existing products and it looks like it did it, then I refresh the admin page and my photo is gone.
