For 50k product should I use 4.1 or want to wait for 4.2 for the performance?

I am starting new project. Now, in this project I have more than 50k product which I want to upload and also do customise. But as per I research in nopcommerce forum and from mouth communication I get that 4.1 performance is not good as compare to previous version.

So, is it right?

If no, then in future after uploading this 50k product performance will work in nop4.1 or I want to wait for nop4.2.

If I will wait for nop4.2, then it could be changes that this speed performance will good as compare to 4.0.

If yes. Then can anyone tell me the precision time that when 4.2 will be release?

That's right. nopCommerce 4.10 has a performance issue (introduced by Entity Framework team - more info). There are also a lot of other enhancements in the upcoming version 4.20. So I would wait for 4.20

Thank You, for your suggestion. And its really great news for us that in 4.2 other enhancement will be updated. But the main thing which is performance it will good in 4.2 as compare to previous version i.e. 4.1 as per your testing?

Yes, 4.20 should be definitely faster than 4.10

Upgrading to EF 2.2 is preferred. We've also done that in the upcoming nopCommerce 4.20

That fix was provided for people who don't want to upgrade EF for ome reasons
