Hi -
I have recently received the following warning from Facebook about my site which uses the built-in Facebook authentication plugin (v4.00):
In working to create a great Platform experience for everyone, we ask developers to ensure the apps they build comply with our Platform Policies. Your app BHPC Shop (AppId: 891206517653436) doesn't comply with the following:
Platform Policy 8.3: Use a clearly branded "Login with Facebook" button and follow the Facebook Brand Guidelines: https://www.facebookbrand.com/.
Your Login button doesn't properly reference Facebook. To fix this issue, you should always use our official SDK for Login. For more information on Login best practices, check out the Login section of our developer documents: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/best-practices#buttondesign.
I still don't understand exactly what they are complaining about (colour? shape of the "f"??) but I eventually got round it by replacing the supplied button image (wwwroot/Plugins/ExternalAuth.Facebook/Content/Images/facebook-signing.png) with a new one based on the official Facebook login button.
The developers of ExternalAuth.Facebook may like to be aware of this issue before the FB police hunt down more nopCommerce sites. They aren't the friendliest lot to deal with.
