Can I advertise my website and products here in the nopCommerce forums too? Can I spam the heck out of it in forums that were created, not for you, but for people looking for help in developing their nopCommerce website.
Regardless of whether or not your product is any good, I view your posts as nothing more than Spam. And I think these types of posts should be banned or at least, the administration of this site should make a special forum for such advertisements.

I understand the reason for your post, and to some degree I agree. However, the intent for nopadmin is to help nopcommerce integrators and administrators, the very folks who read these forums, build their nopcommmerce stores easily and quickly. Nopadmin actually is the result of a client store that needed to be built quickly with around 600 products, and it was a huge help in serving that purpose.
I have contacted NopCommerce about the possibility of listing NopAdmin on the NopCommerce site, however because it is not an open source program was told that listing it right now was not a possibility. I was told that there will be a 'marketplace' for commercial products in the coming months.
These posts are not at all intended to be spam, and I am sorry they are viewed as that. I think your suggestion of creating a seperate category has merit and is a good one. Hopefully nopCommerce will create one so other folks who are trying to benefit the nopcommerce community, open source or not, has a place to list their products and updates without having to list them in general support.

It's meant to enhance productivity. It's not meant to completely replace the NopCommerce adminstration site. NopAdmin was developed as a windows interface to remove the postbacks and refreshes that are inherent in many web-based interfaces. If one needs to save time and bring a store to market or maintain a lot of products and images, NopAdmin is an available option. If not, the NopCommerce administration site is a great free solution for administering their store.
