Thanks Shawn again! Backup/Restore makes a lot of sense for an exact copy. In my use case, I will find myself having to do subsets of the total data from source for export to target. So if Store A contains all possible products, when I setup Store B, it may only require 70% of the products (like all products by Manufacturer C, but no products by Manufacturer D). That's where I'm looking for a handy tool that can help me cleanly bring the products over. Maybe I'll give nopAdmin a test drive, and see what the experience would be like.

Just as a thought on that - if you're handy with SQL it wouldn't be hard to initialize Store B using Store A's data using a backup/restore - and just remove the products of Manufacturers 1,4, and 5 with just a few simple queries in a SQL Query window... but I don't know your exact business rules for this. We're proud to announce the release of 5 new NopAdmin 2.20 versions to support nopCommerce 2.20.
Now, thanks to Andrei and his team - for the first time we can prevent duplicate images from being uploaded on Excel imports!! We're really excited about this new capability!
Prior to nopCommerce 2.20, there was no way within the nopCommerce data structure to be able to determine the name of any image that was assigned to a product. Consequently, NopAdmin would always upload the images, be it a remote URL or a local image, to the product. If for some reason an import process stopped midway through the Excel worksheet, the next time the import was run it would re-upload the same images to the same product....leaving you with sometimes multiple images. We now can prevent image duplicates by allowing you to specify to overwrite or ignore images of the same name for the product. This is a brand new feature in only NopAdmin 2.20+! All NopAdmin 2.20 versions support this capability, including the 2.20 FREE version.
To coincide with the release of NopAdmin 2.20, we've also updated our web site and given it a fresher look as well as made it easier to find the exact NopAdmin version you need to manage your nopCommerce store.
We've been developing and improving NopAdmin over a year now and the experience has been better than we had hoped for.
