Show discounts on invoice and order details

I would like to have the pdf invoice / email invoice and order details page reflect the discount given. Basically like the shopping cart - you save $x.xx. Nop 4.1

Is there a way to accomplish this out of the box?

You have to customize for that.

I am also interested on that. Still wondering why invoice does not show discount. It is crazy. No accountant accepts that.
