Question 1
Users need to be validated after registration. But the criteria for being validated is their Kvk number, which is a registrationnumber at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. How do I add this field in the customer registration entry and make it mandatory?

Question 2
When an user registrates itself on our site, it doesnt receive any email at all. We use admin validation, but no email can be sent that their request is received, nor does it send out a welcome message after the account has been activated. Any suggestions?

in admin>content management>templates>message templates make sure that  in the Customer.WelcomeMessage and NewCustomer.Notification templlates the option "Is Active" is selected

They are active and they do work when registration is set to standard. Then the mail system works. Just not when it's set to admin approval.

Maybe they will be sent when you give the approval

The only way I know how to approve new customers, is to check the active checkbox in customerdetails. When I do that, still no mail is sent.
