Hello Everyone. I'm running v.1.9 and I get the following error when I browse www.[sitename]/nopcommerce/install/install.aspx to install my website.


Any information is greatly appreciated!

Now I'm getting the following:

That tells you that the location (IP Address, or the DNS name) of the Server where SQL is running, does not exist.

Check and verify that you spelled the server Name / Instance Name correctly. If you are using an Instance name. See if you can ping the server name.

So now i'm getting this error:

My connection string has nothing to do with this user. So I'm kind of confused

Which is your connection string?

Why are you trying to use a system login, for a SQL login. That should be the SQL login that your ISP gave you.

And then you need to change the connection string to be correct.

IUSR_* is a IIS system login, you should not be using that for anything. Also, I bet that is not the box where the database is currently residing.
