Help needed please - moving application to root directory

Hello All,
We can configured our 3.4 system to run in a sub folder on our website (eg, www.mysite.com/shop). Now I need to put the nopcommerce application on the root of the website - so at www.mysite.com

I have tried everything including the "appcmd set app" utility, but I'm still not getting it.

Has anybody else moved their application to run from the root menu of their site , or can anybody please point me in the right direction?

I'm using iis 7.5 under Server 2008 R2.

If you have direct iis access you can make it easily
Create new website by pointing nop folder as physical path
Bind the domain www.mysite.com with your newly created website
Edit permission: make sure you give write permission for IIS_IUSR on the folder
