Awesome features and design in this version. Great job

I have been loving the new design in the backend. The only think I am disappointed in is product imports now need to be a category name rather than ID. How am I supposed to import products when I have multiple categories with the same name?

This is the first time I've tried upgrading using the upgrade scripts and I have to say it went wayyy smoother than I had imagined. You guys are such pros, great work!

Hello, i have a question. I installed , configured and loaded products on my new site and now i realize i am hitting this bug.  I installed the nopcommerce from one click installer given by smarterasp. Now, how do i patch this fix ?

If you are referring to this issue, I've opened a support ticket with SmarterAsp.net and asked if they upgraded their one-click installer for nopCommerce.  In the meantime, you can download the latest no_source version from here https://www.nopcommerce.com/downloads.aspx, and then use the smarterasp host control panel file manager to upload to your site.   First, however, when you download the .rar file from nopCommerce, unblock it, extract it, and then zip it before you upload with smarterasp file manager, because the file manager can handle un-zipping zip files (the icon is a box with zipper on the side :), but not rar files.

Thank you. Should i unzip all ? or just the bin directory is good ? The reason i am asking is, i configured a lot of plugins and i am worried all those works need to be done again ?

For this bug fix, it's probably OK to just do the bin folder.  Note, that "configurations" (settings) are stored in the database.  Also, if you installed any plugins/themes, then they would not get overridden by zip contents, because they are not in zip file.

The reply from the SmarterAsp.net support tech is:

Dear Customer,

I have confirmed with our server engineers. The one click installer was installed on 08/22 which is the bug fixed version.

So, it's odd that you got the error.  Was it exactly the error as described above?

Thank you. I installed using one click installer [smarterasp.net] between Oct 2nd  and Oct 7th. So i believe my site is using a version with bug.

How do i confirm this ? Is there any patch number i can check ?

i am having very bad performance issue. I have loaded 15,000 to 17,000 products on the site. Smarterasp team contacted and told that my site is using more than 750 MB of Application pool size and they see Application pool is recycled frequently.

There are few customers contacted saying the site is very slow.

Will this bug fix help me ?

Here is the log given by them.
