Help: the "Mappings" -> "Limited to stores" functionality for multi-stores doesn't work

The "Mappings" -> "Limited to stores" functionality for multi-stores doesn't allow me to select only one or several stores when I create a new product, even if I have disabled the "Ignore limit per store rules" setting in Configuration -> Catalog Settings. More precisely, if I select all of my three stores, then I can obviously see my new product in all of them, but if I select only one or two stores, in this case I can't see my new product in no one of my stores's front end.  

I need to create and add different products for my multi-stores and I don't know how to do it in other ways.


Can anybody kindly help me or tell me where do I go wrong?
