I am setting up my cart on a sub-domain using Arvixe.net as my web host. I am currently only using PayPal standard for checkout and maybe Google Checkout. I am running nopCommerce 1.70. I would like to use the shared ssl offered by Arvixe just to re-assure my customers that their registration data is secure. My question is this. In looking at setting up the shared ssl with Arvixe, their setup ask for the web site name, in my case shopping.rothscratchpads.com. It says that a virtual directory will be created using the security settings from the web site. It then asks for a directory name and then what folder to use. I know the virtaul directory is just a name pointing to a folder. should I or can I point it to the wwwroot folder of the subdomain web site?
I am open to any and all suggestions.
